Classification and Dichotomous Keys using Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Jellybeans

SCIENCE! students are studying classification and using a dichotomous key to classify species. We used this lesson from David T. Crowther with Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Jellybeans to identify the flavors of the beans before taste testing them. After, the students studied the taxonomy classification levels (domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species) and classified an animal of their choice using a foldable.
